Saying 1961 home isn’t historic, Austin council OKs demolition
A $1.1 million dollar mid-century modern home by noted Austin architect Leonard Lundgren in West Austin is being allowed to be demolished. Lundgren is a UT Austin architecture graduate who designed the fantastic Adams Extract Building (now demolished) and the characteristic round Holiday Inn Hotel building (Austin's is at IH35 and the river) around the world.
